Ferdinand (aka Cheesetoes) and Atticus Finch
I am so blessed that this shelter was recommended to me by a friend. There were so many wonderful kittens when I went to “just see” if there was a pair that suited me. First, I found my Ferdinand. He was listed as “shy” and as a “barn cat.” He gave me the look and it was all over. Ferdinand is not all shy now, and just wants to be held by everyone and anyone. In fact, he purrs and tries desperately not to be put down. Atticus, now Atticus Finch was chosen by Ferdinand to be our second playmate. He is known to all as the entertainer. Atticus has always embraced life and now he embraces his adopted brother and family.
Both cats have been so easy to train and they just adore people (including strangers!). There is never a dull moment and I look forward to waking up with them piled on my head every morning. It is so much fun to see what new game they will have invented each day.
