Holiday Miracle Surpased!
It’s a thin line between cozy and overcrowded and Stafford Animal Shelter has crossed it: cats are piled in the hallways and atop each other. Won’t you consider making a Christmas Miracle come true by adopting a cat? Our deepest holiday hope is homes for 25 cats by the 25th. As of December 30th we had 27 adoptions in the month of December – surpasing our Chritmas Miracle! Thanks so much to everyone who adopted but there are still dozens of cats and kittens waiting for homes and still time to adopt before next year. Remember that we are closing at 3 pm on Saturday the 31st. Adopting a cat really is Karma you can cuddle. Take advantage of the surprise gift waiting for you at the Shelter: at least 50% and up to 100% off feline adoptions. There are over fifty to choose from and if half found homes, the rest would at least be able to stretch their legs. One year ago today I adopted Gina Chubbolina from the shelter and couldn’t be happier! She is funny, floofy and fat. It took some adjustment, but she’s happily in her forever home. She warms my heart and my feet! She loves to play hide and seek under the bed with my dog Rowdy and always wins ~ laughing hysterically from on top of the bed until he notices her, then it starts all over again. She runs around like a maniac, divebombing anything she finds on the floor and pretends it’s the enemy…only to run off and attack it again on her return trip. She is a little ray of sunshine to my day. I can’t imagine not having her in my life. Until my missing Norman comes home or I learn of his fate I can’t add another furball…but would if I could. Here’s hoping you make your 25 cats by the 25th goal! I hope everyone finds their own ‘ray of sunshine’ like I did! The shelter is full of them! All our best! As of Saturday morning – five of our Christmas Miracle cats have been adopted – twenty to go and many to choose from; encourage your friends and family to adopt a cat before Christmas!
