Stafford Animal Shelter is closed July 4 and will be waiving reclaim fees during the trauma of fireworks so if your pet gets out, reclaim them for no fee through Saturday, July 8th. We recommend you keep your pets safely indoors through the 4th. Many people have been able to calm their pets with a “thunder shirt”, Rescue Remedy and ‘Calms’ (the latter two are available at health food stores, the former at pet supply stores.) Best of luck in this pet-traumatizing week! We’ve got your back.
