Bark in the Park 2017 – Fun Run is still on! Sign up now!

Click here to download entry form and mail or drop off your form and payment to the shelter or mail in by August 17th.   Click here for “BITP Race Entry Form”.

You can also sign up at racemontana.com.

Thank you to our generous sponsor Small Dog Realty for sponsoring our event and to Bozeman Canine Classic and Bozeman Running Company for donating their time to help set up our Fun Run!

Come enjoy a morning fun run! On Sunday, August 20 – the days starts at 10am with a fun 5K run/walk. Because of the outbreak in kennel cough in Park and Gallatin counties, we ask that you leave your dogs at home.

The 5K run starts at 10am at the Miles Bandshell Park by the Civic Center in Livingston, MT.  The course winds through historic downtown and by the Yellowstone River.  Early registration is $25 with each runner receiving a race shirt and swag. If you register day of the event, beginning at 9am, registration goes up to $30 per runner.  Strollers and wagons are welcome in the back of the “pack” and children under age 13 are welcome to join for free.

Please come support Stafford Animal Shelter!

CANCELLED – 2017 Bark in the Park! Save the Date – August 20th!

After much discussion with medical staff, veterinarians and our board of directors we have decided to cancel Bark in the Park this year due to the recent outbreak of Kennel Cough & Pneumonia in our area. We are very disappointed as this is our big summer fundraiser raising crucial funds for us. More importantly we will miss the fun & will miss seeing all our alumni dogs come out to celebrate with Stafford Animal Shelter.  We will still have the 5K Fun Run @10:00am but ask that you do not bring your dogs this year. We will be updating all the PR and information shortly. Our thoughts are with all the families and pets who have been affected by this terrible virus.

Here are some links from local articles on the outbreak:
