#GivingTuesdayNow, May 5, 2020, is a global day of giving and unity. A movement to rally people around the world to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen communities at the grassroots level to support frontline workers, nonprofits and community organizations that feed, house, educate, and nurture neighbors impacted by the global pandemic. At Stafford Animal Shelter, we are seeing firsthand the economic crisis effecting our community in Montana. We remain essential and are here with free pet food & supplies and a veterinary & senior assistance fund. We comfort families when they make the heartbreaking decision to surrender their animals due to lack of housing, finances or family illness then we help find those pets new loving families to adopt them. We care for the lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted and provide emergency boarding for fire, flood, car accidents and law enforcement emergencies. We are committed to our mission to take in any animals in need and allow them to stay as long as they need until they find a home. We accept any animal regardless of species, breed or medical condition. We take in animals from underserved communities, Indian Reservation partners and those at risk from euthanasia in high risk shelters. We are here when people and animals have nowhere else to turn and we need your help to continue. As a 501C3 we must fundraise every year to keep our doors open. We receive no funding from state or federal government(s) or national animal welfare organizations. We rely on the generosity of donations to carry out our lifesaving mission. If you are fortunate enough to be in a position to give, we hope you can help us this #GivingTuesday. Thank you! #staffordanimalshelter #shelteringneverstops #adoptionsaveslives #donationssaveslives
