Yes, you can post your happy adoption or reunion story on Stafford Animal Shelter’s new website! Simply go to the “Happy Tails” page and fill out the form and upload your picture. We are so fond of our animal residents and thrilled when they find a home – but hearing how they are doing in their new homes is icing on the cake! Thanks to everyone who makes room in their home and heart for a rescued pet and for sharing their stories with us.

nd pets don’t mix. Dogs and cats who normally don’t roam may do so when fireworks and thunder stress them out so be extra careful to make sure they are in a secure place.
1) Create a safe place with a comfy bed/mat/blanket in a dark space ( under your desk, side of closet, laundry room, bathroom. Look to the space your pet likes to go when they need comfort. DARK is key, and you will find that many pets learn how to self sooth in a safe place if given the chance.
