Steve Leach with (his first) Shelter favorite, Jacob.

“In light of the ever-changing dynamics in the world of animal shelters I reached an agreement with the Board of Directors to retire my position as Executive Director of Stafford Animal Shelter. I will continue to offer my full support for the shelter including volunteering services as needed. I take great pride in what the shelter has become over my 7+ year tenure. As requested, I will be diligent in an effort to find my replacement. We could not have accomplished what we have these past years without the tremendous support of this community, I am eternally grateful for that... Thank you all!” - Steve Leach June 8th 2022
