We're excited to announce our 2022 Yellowstone National Park fundraiser! This year we are pairing a guided wildlife watching tour donated by Yellowstone Wolf Tracker, an evening horse-drawn chuck wagon ride with cowboy cookout donated by Yellowstone National Parks Lodges and 2 nights in a luxury cabin on the Yellowstone River with Chico Hot Springs swim passes donated by Andy Art. (see more trip details below).
The winner can plan a trip to our nation’s first national park for this one-in-a-lifetime experience! This is a perfect opportunity for out-of-towners to support our shelter. Tickets are $20 each and only 500 will be sold. Great odds for a great trip!
Winner will be announced at Fur Ball on May 20th, 2022 (WINNER DOES NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN.) Please be sure to include email or phone number so we can contact you.
The chuck wagon prize must be used in Summer of 2022. Wolf Tracker & cabin expire 3/1/2023.
Trip Details, valued over $2,000
Thank you to “Yellowstone Wolf Tracker”! – They have generously donated a truly one in a lifetime experience in our world’s first national park. Enjoy a 6-hour wildlife watching tour in Yellowstone for four people. This early morning safari will explore the famed Lamar Valley, wildlife rich Northern Range, and iconic interior all while observing wolves, bears, bison, and birds in their natural habitat. This private guided tour is educational, in-depth and inspiring.
Thank you to “Yellowstone National Parks Lodges”! Grab the saddles and hitch up the wagon for an evening you won’t soon forget. Four people will ride out to Pleasant Valley in a covered wagon. Since the cookout begins at dusk, this can be a perfect time to watch wildlife in the Roosevelt area. When you arrive you’ll find those cooks dishin’ up some real cowboy grub at our popular Old West Dinner Cookout. Ride takes 30 – 45 minutes and goes through sagebrush flats (following the same road used for the stagecoach rides) to the cookout site. The wagons are canvas-covered with padded bench seats; each wagon is drawn by two horses. Meeting location: Roosevelt Corrals, 105 Roosevelt Lodge Rd, Yellowstone, Wyoming.
Thank you to Andy Art! Enjoy 2 nights in the luxury Loch Leven cabin located along the Yellowstone River in the world-famous Paradise Valley! Cabin sleeps 4 with two twin beds, one queen bed, a bathroom, living room and kitchenette. Conveniently located 10 miles from Chico Hot Springs, your stay will include 4 swim passes for the hot springs as well!
