Adopt, volunteer, foster, donate, or partner with us—there are lots of ways to help animals right here in our community.
Volunteer
Our volunteers make a huge difference in the lives of homeless pets. Thank you for being here.
Visitors (Walk-In)
- Who: Visitors are welcome; minors must be with an adult.
- What: Calm time with cats, zoo animals, and puppies—check in at the front desk first.
- When: Wed–Sun, 12pm–5pm (please limit visits to ~30 minutes so animals can rest).
Trained Volunteers
- Who: 15+ (minors need guardian permission), willing to learn.
- What: Dog walking, enrichment/socialization, projects, maintenance, crafts, events.
- How: Submit an application and attend orientation (first Thursday monthly, 3:30–5:00pm).
Community Service Volunteers
- Who: Service hours for school/work/court (availability may vary). We cannot accommodate volunteers convicted of crimes related to theft, violence, or narcotics.
- What: Yardwork, maintenance, cleaning, organizing, and shelter upkeep projects.
- How: Submit the community service application and our team will schedule your first shift.
